Manville News, July 25th, 1941

Here is another consecutive digital issue of the “Old” Manville News. There is a lot going on in this issue, so I made the graphic here a little bigger. This issue is July 25th, 1941, and was by far the most crooked, decrepit, and most difficult one to deal with so far… so I apologize for any tears or missing words, but these things are old. The lead story here seems to be Mayor Francis Polonko’s bid for re-election, but be sure not to miss the story about Explorer Lawrence K. Grisold narrowly escaping death by snakebite in a Mayan pyramid exploration mission. Great issue. Here is a link. Manville News 7-25-1941
